In a recent weekly press briefing conducted by the Ministry of Information and Civic Education, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Jiwoh Abdulai, revealed an exciting opportunity for Sierra Leonean students and government officials in collaboration with Cambridge University. During his engagements with professionals from Cambridge University, Minister Abdulai shared that discussions led to an agreement wherein the esteemed university will offer fully-funded scholarships for specific courses.
These scholarships aim to benefit a total of 50 university students and 50 government officials from Sierra Leone. According to the Minister, a professor from Cambridge University disclosed this initiative during their interactions, outlining the university’s commitment to supporting educational endeavours in Sierra Leone.
According to the Minister of Information and Civic Education, the scholarships will cover a range of courses, providing an invaluable opportunity for individuals to enhance their skills and knowledge in various fields. This collaboration signifies a promising development in educational cooperation between Sierra Leone and an internationally renowned institution like Cambridge University.
