As part of its efforts to continue to put smiles on the faces of its valued and esteemed customers across the country in the holy months of Ramadan, Africell Sierra Leone Tuesday 21 March 2023, launched ‘Di Hut’ Ramadan show at the company’s headquarters Pivot Street Wilberforce West of Freetown.

Speaking at the launching, Head of Media Relations, Africell SL, Abdul Aziz Kamara said that as a company they respect all religious faiths in the country. He on behalf of Africell SL expressed delight to join the country’s Islamic community and Muslims in observing the holy month of Ramadan.

He said Africell SL is proud to maintain its tradition of bringing innovation shows that promote their subscribers.

Abdul Aziz Kamara furthered that this year’s Africell SL Ramadan ‘Di Hut Show’ will commences on Thursday 23 March and ends in April 2023, with so may offer at the disposals of subscribers to win.

He explained that every subscriber who want to participate in the Ramadan ‘Di Hut Show’ should be an Africell SL subscribers and recharge/top-up at least One New Leone (NLe1) which automatically qualify a subscriber for the show.

Kamara added that Africell SL subscribers should send a blank SMS to or call 777 or perform any transition via Afrimoney Sierra Leone which also automatically qualify one for the electronic drew, wherein subscribers will win different prize daily and Five Hundred New Leones (NLe 500) is also up for win at the end of the Ramadan show.

Kamara added that every blank SMS sent, or call made to 777, automatically gives a subscriber a chance at a cost of any recharge, which is given back as an on-net bonus which must be used before midnight of the same day.

Director of Afrimoney Sierra Leone, Martison Obeng-Agyei described the show as unique for Africell SL and Afrimoney subscribers, adding that all customers need to do is just top-up Two New Leones (NLe2) via Afrimoney and get three chances for the show.

He said a first timer Afrimoney user that wants to partake in the show should buy an Africell SL sim card and do self-registration by dialling *161 and get one chance.

He said 30 days fasting is not easy for the company’s Muslim brothers and sisters with that, Afrimoney truck will be moving across the country with goodies for subscribers.

In his shot statement, one of the team hosts for the show, Abdulai Jalloh aka Tamba B., said that the show is unique and will be broadcast live on AYV and partner radio stations across the country.

He encouraged Africell SL subscribers to remain very vigilant detecting and exposing scammers who may want to interrupt the show by send fake SMS or call to lucky winners and requesting for monies them in returned.

Welcome all at the unveiling of the promotion, Africell SL Legal Affairs Manager, Hajaratu S. Turay recalled over the years Africell SL tele-company has rendered quality shows and doled out a lot of goodies in the holy month Ramadan for their subscribers across the country.
