High Court Judge, Hon Justice Ivan Sesay has remanded Alhaji Foday Sonnie, Alusine Logan, (AKA Don Dazzy), Edward Brima Tengbeh, Alhaji Jalloh, Gibrilla Kamara, (aka Scottish), Ibrahim Kamara (aka Gangster), Saidu Jalloh (aka VIP), Isaa Conteh (aka Shakur), Abudul Kamara (aka Wizzy), Julius Rogers, Alimamy Sesay (aka Khalifa) and Ahmed Koroma (aka Boika) are before the court on two count charged conspiracy to commit murder and murder respectively.
According to the charge sheet, the 13 accused persons on 26th December 2018 or 29th December, 2018, Freetown, in the Western Ares of the Republic of Sierra Leone conspired with others person unknown to commit a felony to wit murder.
Count two, murder, the 13 accused persons, Alhaji Foday Sonnie, Alusine Logan, (AKA Don Dazzy), Edward Brima Tengbeh, Alhaji Jalloh, (aka Babay), Gibrilla Kamara, (aka Scottish), Ibrahim Kamara (aka Gangster), Saidu Jalloh (aka VIP),Isaa Conteh(aka Shakur), Abudul Kamara (aka Wizzy), Julius Rogers, Alimamy Sesay (aka Khalifa) and Ahmed Koroma (aka Boika) on 29th December, 2018 in Freetown murdered twenty four years old Osman Bangura (aka Toshiba).
Charges were read to the accused persons plead not guilty of all charges.
Presenting a five page autopsy result in court, Sierra Leone trained and qualified forensic pathologist and Chief medical officer, Dr. Simeon Owizz Koroma told the court that the late Osman Bangura age 24 was stabbed with a knife on 29th December 2018, New Camp, Grafton, Freetown.
He recalled on 3rd January 2019, when he carried out an autopsy with one Osman Bangura age 24 years, former student in the presence of the relatives and one Abu-backarr Koroma that the pathologist identified as youth chairman of the community and also the individual that reported the matter to the police, the investigative officer in charge of the matter and other investigative officers.
In his description, he narrated that the body was typical fit young man that was allegedly stabbed to death with a sharp pointed object, two centimetre long knife (2cm).
He told the court that the body was later transferred to the Connaught mortuary hospital.
He continued, i removed his clothing and proceeded with autopsy.
He told the court that the body was complete, eyes were sinked and his teeth were complete also.
I proceeded to the head and neck for external injury but it was normal and intact, he told the court.
At the back of the body, there was a stabbed wound at the left side with is 2cm wide that showed he was stabbed at the left body back, he continued.
The five page autopsy result was presented in court and marked as exhibit U1-5 Lawyer Emmanuel Tucker is prosecuting the matter while C. Tucker is standing for the accused person.
Hon Justice Ivan Sesay Adjoined the matter to Thursday June 8th 2023 for another hearing.
