The United Nations Development Programme in Sierra Leone UNDP Sierra Leone has in a recent press release, issued officially announced that the disbursement of payments for polling personnel involved in the June 24 general elections is currently underway for all verified individuals.
“We wish to inform the public that the process of compensating temporary polling personnel is in progress for those individuals whose information has been recently confirmed through the ECSL/UNDP Call Center”, the release reads.
It furthered that, “Verified personnel can anticipate receiving an SMS containing their individual SIM Korpor e-voucher codes, facilitating the redemption of their payments. 
These payments can be collected at any branch of Rokel Commercial Bank, as well as through existing SIM Korpor agents and designated centers where the polling personnel underwent training, all administered by ECSL.”
The press release also highlights the locations of RCBank payment points for the convenience of those concerned, reminding all concerned that “Verified staff members to bring valid government-issued identification, such as a national identity card, voter ID card, driver’s license, passport, etc., which was used to confirm their details during the verification process.”
As stated in the release, the Elections Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) has been designated as the point of contact. The UNDP extends its gratitude to all parties involved for their cooperation and patience throughout this process.
