Former Sierra Leone People’s Party – SLPP Bo City Council’s Mayoral Candidate, Hon. Sualiho Monyaba Koroma has over the weekend on August 17, 2024, donated 100 bags of rice and Le:40,000 (Forty Thousand New Leones ) to District, Constituency, Zonal, Elders Council executives of the Sierra Leone People’s party, in Bo City.
Hon. Sualiho M. Koroma told over three hundred party die-hards and executive members that his gesture to the party executives for the past 15 years should not be misconstrued as a show of wealth; rather as a show of love for the SLPP and all executive members and supporters whom according to him are the pillars of strength for the party.
“I know the global economic times are hard everywhere and Sierra Leone is no exception but I’m making frantic efforts to share the little I have with my people whenever the means arise. I know the 100 bags of rice is small but kindly accept my little token of love” Hon. S. M. Koroma remarked.
He encouraged all to support President Julius Maada Bio for a better and progressive Sierra Leone and to remain being a formidable force ahead of the 2028 general elections.
SLPP Bo District Secretary, Foday Abdulai on behalf of the District Executive and membership showered profuse gratitude on Hon. S. M. Koroma for his selfless love to the Sierra People’s Party despite not having to benefit from any political appointment yet.
He singled out the SLPP Regional Chairman South, Alhaji Kanja I. Sesay and Hon. Sualiho M. Koroma as being among the very few people whose wind fall contributions are always for the greater good of all and sundry and encouraged him to continue doing good against the odds.
Beneficiaries lauded Hon. Sualiho M. Koroma for his constant show of love and magnanimity and promised to always stand by him in thick and thin.
“Undoubtedly, Hon. Sualiho is a true son of the soil whose generosity transcends tribe, sex, age or party patronages. Year in year out, he has always been a dependable politician unlike others who don’t even know or appreciate us” Mariama Samai said.
