Our client is an Oil and Gas organization operating in the Republic of Sierra Leone seeking application from qualified, competent, self-motivated individuals to fill the below position.
JOB TITLE: AVIATION OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
The position will be responsible for the statutory rules and policies exist to ensure compliance with all governing bodies. This position closely monitors the aviation operations together with the Freetown International Airport to ensure compliance with product quality, product handling, delivery etc. Health and safety awareness and product quality are key in aviation operations. Detailed and accurate work is required when carrying out its operations to ensure top notch service, customer satisfaction and compliance with the Civil Aviation Act and Joint Inspection Group Standard.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s in Engineering. Preferably Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years’ experience ORHND in Engineering with at least 7 years’ experience
- Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Must have a sound knowledge and capacity to use Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Power Point and Excel)
- Must possess a valid driving license and have acquired skills with at least 5 years of driving experience.
- Must be articulate, analytical, customer oriented, self-motivated and a team playerwho can demonstrate boldness, the skill of listening and mutual support.
- Must have knowledge in HSEQ
- Effective communication skills
Main Responsibilities
- Must have experience in monitoring stock reconciliation & inventory control.
- He/she most ensure proper inventory, planning and control of the operational spares and its timely procurement.
- Monitor and willing to learn and train staff under the unit.
- He/she should have knowledge in Fuel stock management.
- Must be able to create and follow up on designed preventive and curative maintenance system for both refueling vehicle & equipment.
- Must be willing and committed to following processes and procedures at the depot
- Responsible for the general safety & security of the depot, its operations and maintenance.
- Must be able to coordinate with the reporting person/Manager for all management activities.
- Ensure all customer care needs are addressed in a professional manner.
