By ways of further supporting the sustenance of the network, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of the United Bank for Africa (UBASL) has registered the bank’s renewed commitment towards supporting management and staff of Media One Centre.
Mr Usman Imam Isiaka registered the renewal of his UBA-SL’s renewed partnership with the managements of Star Television, Radio Stations and Standard Times during the signing of a book of condolence at Mama Street Brookfields in Freetown to sympathize with Media Once Centre and family of the late proprietor, Mr Philip Neville.
Speaking at the signing of the book of condolence for the later Executive Director of Media One Centre, late Philip Neville, the UBS-SL MD/CEO Usman Imam Isiaka who was accompanied by senior staffers of the Marketing and Corporate Communications Department conveyed UBASL’s profound heartfelt grief over the sad death of the late Mr Philip Neville.
Mr Isiaka spoke of the strong ties between UBA-SL and Media One Centre, reaffirmed his bank’s support to the media entity for further consolidation going forward as he described Media One Centre as a strong and reliable partner.
He therefore encouraged staff and the entire Media One Centre team to take the death of their former boss as part of the will of God Almighty Allah. Mr Isiak called on them to ensure that they protect and sustain the legacy of the late Philip Neville. He profusely registered his heartfelt in sympathy with them and the bereaved family. The UBA-SL MD/CEO promised to continue with the bank’s support to Media Once Centre.
“UBA’s support to the media has always been good, as evidence in the partnership we have with different media entities in the country. At UBA we believe in partnership with the media, hence the reason why our relationship is always good”, said MD/CEO Usman Imam Isiak. He described the signing of the book of condolence to sympathize with the Media one Centre as one among many approaches to show how they are also in grief. It could be recalled that UBASL has been in strong and fruitful partnership with Media One Centre for a very long time and several other media entities across the country. The late Mr Neville died at Choitrams Hospital after he was hit by a commercial motorbike rider elsewhere in the Western Rural District.
