It gives me the distinguish honor and privilege this morning to welcome you to here to witness the official launch of the Freetown Africell Marathon.
Let me first start by thanking our team who’ve been working tirelessly round the clock to put this together.
The Freetown Africell Marathon is an initiative by the Africell Impact Foundation under the health pillar which is designed to promote healthy lifestyle, well-being and sports.:
As a company, we have through our CSR supported several health and sports initiatives.
And to show how committed we are to continuously supporting health living, connecting with our subscribers we’re hosting the biggest Freetown Marathon.
Well I mean, we have to match our size and capacity as the biggest telecommunications company in the country. And you know we don’t like doing small things.
Finally, let me thank the team from Street Child for bringing their expertise on board to power the organization of the Marathon. Thank you for your commitment.
