The newly appointed Head Coach of Bo Rangers, John Keister has informed press men and football loving fans that he had many options, but he prefer to take the Bo Rangers job as Head Coach. He made this statement on 30th October 2023, during his unveiling ceremony at the Elephant Theatre Hall, Bo Rangers club house, Bo city.
According to John Keister, Bo was where his footballing career started and he is pleased to come back home. He adding that he had a lot of options but he prefers to choose Bo Rangers because Bo is the city where his mom had spent a lot of time doing a great work and now happy to be part of the Bo Ranger family.
He continued that he is coming to Bo Rangers to play his own part and add to the already development that the team has created in the past four to five years. He continued he has seen the growth of the football team current forms and that he is now willing and ready to make his own contribution to enable the team achieve its goals.
He admitted that the club has tested success and as such the club wants more successes while reiterating that in football patience is key. According John Keister, sometime things will not go in the club favour and therefore entreated the club fans to be patience and always ready to support the team no matter the circumstances as they have to stick together as a family and support the team.
He encouraged all players to work very hard and make the people of Bo proud, according to Keister; the players owe it to the people of Bo. He therefore thanked the Executive chairman for bringing him as Head Coach and promised to do more for Bo Ranger.
Welcoming the Head Coach to Bo Rangers, the executive chairman of Bo Rangers, Babadi Kamara, noted among other things that the club is pleased to have the best coach in Sierra Leone. He disclosed that Keister’s records in Sierra Leone football is a top-notch and the people of Bo are happy to have him as Head coach of Bo rangers, as he is optimistic that Keister will live up to the expectations.
He expressed his confidence in John Keister’s coaching abilities and his ability to inspire young players to perform at their best. He called on everyone to unite and support the club and the newly appointed coach to achieve success for the team.
