Following the violence behaviors that occurred between fans of Bo Rangers and East End Lions at the SLFA FA cup Final in Port Loko, Bo Rangers has in a public notice condemned the act and called for immediate investigations on the said issue.
According to them, Violence had no place in football, and they strongly condemn any acts of violence that occurred during the FA Cup final hosted on the 4th of May 2024 in Port Loko between Bo Rangers FC and East End Lions.
the notice continued that, as stakeholders of the beautiful game, they must uphold the values of sportsmanship, respect, and fair play. Such incidents detract from the spirit of the game and have no place in the sport or football as a whole.
It Furthered that the Bo Rangers FC Management, would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all our fans and players for their unwavering courage and bravery displayed during the just-halted FA Cup final against East End Lions. Their passionate support is truly commendable, and they appreciate every one of them
While the match was unfortunately halted due to ‘crowd trouble’ as communicated by the SLFA, they want to reassure all their fans and players that the club stands by then and the value their dedication and commitment to the team, and they would work closely with the relevant authorities to address any concerns and ensure the safety and security of all fans in future matches.
They, the Bo Rangers FC management, stand firm in their commitment to promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans, players, and officials. Let us come together to celebrate the love of the sport and support our teams positively and peacefully.
