Following rumours making rounds on social media purporting that a meeting held at Hon Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray’s residence in Freetown, the Unifer Team has debunked the rumours going around claiming that Dr Richard Konteh was part of the meeting.
Team Unifier released a statement dated on the 24 June 2024, noting that their attention has been drawn to some baseless allegations circulating on social media regarding a meeting purportedly held on Sunday, June 23 2024, involving Dr Richard Konteh, Dr Kaifala Marah, and Hon Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray.
It continued that they wished to categorically clarify that Dr Richard Konteh was in Gbendembu and Makeni attending the funeral of the late Lieutenant Colonel Pawolo Kargbo. Therefore, any claim suggesting that he had attended a meeting at Hon Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray’s residence in Freetown is absurd and entirely false.

Therefore, any claim suggesting that he attended a meeting at Minkailu Mansaray’s residence in Freetown is absurd and entirely false,” part of the press release stated.
It admitted that Dr Konteh and others have tirelessly dedicated their time, energy, and resources to supporting the APC Party and Dr Samura Kamara, their esteemed party leader. If some cannot appreciate their immense efforts, remaining silent would be more constructive than spreading unfounded accusations.
It mentioned that Dr Richard Konteh remained unwavering in his commitment to pursuing electoral justice, necessary reforms, and accountability in Sierra Leone. No baseless accusations will deter him from his principled stand and dedication to our shared cause.
They called on all members and supporters of the APC party and all peace-loving Sierra Leoneans to disregard those malicious rumours and continue to stand united in their mission for a better Sierra Leone.
