Armed with a unique blend of expertise in sports reporting and presentation, Ishmail has solidified his knowledge and capacity as a stalwart in not only the field of sports but also in journalism.

He holds the distinction of being the sole sports journalist in Sierra Leone with an LLB degree, laying bare his expertise and dedication to his craft. He holds a BSc and an LLB Hons from Fourah Bay College (USL).

His extensive experience and broad network within the sporting family, bodies, and associations have established him as one of the greatest among his peers nationwide.

The multiple award-winning sports journalist has previously served as the Public Relations officer for the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone a position he served diligently and efficiently.

As a way to give more to the sports association and the country, Ishmail is set to contest for the association’s presidency, aiming to further contribute to the growth and development of sports journalism in the country.

As he steps forward to potentially lead the association, his rich background and unwavering passion for sports journalism position him as a promising candidate poised to make a meaningful impact on the profession in Sierra Leone.
