Freetown, Sierra Leone, three individuals were standing trial for an alleged murder, Ikubolaje Nicol a Forty-eight years old Banker Augustus Issa Turay forty-eight years old banker and Moiwa Farmah a forty years old business man made another appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba Road Court No.2 in Freetown on three count charges to wit Conspiracy to defraud contrary to law, forgery contrary to section 4 (1) of the Forgery Act 1913 and Uttering of forged documents contrary to section 6 (1) (2) of the Forgery Act 1913.
According to the particulars of offence on a date between 1st January 2017 and 31st December 2018 at the guaranty trust bank #12 Wilberforce Street the western area in Freetown with intent to defraud Forged certain documents to wit one guaranty trust bank offer of banking facility dated 31st May 2017 purported to have been signed by Hussein Ibrahim Bazzy as the Borrower.
Count two stated that on the same date and place the accused persons with intent to defraud, forged certain documents to wit one guaranty trust bank offer of banking facility date 31 May 2017, purported to have been signed by Hussein Ibrahim Bazzy as the borrower knowing same to be forged.
Count three further stated that on the same date and place the accused persons with intent to defraud, forged certain documents to wit one guaranty trust bank offer of banking facility date 31st May 2017, purported to have been signed by Hussein Ibrahim Bazzy as the borrower knowing same to be forged.
When the matter was mentioned in court all the accused persons was absent the prosecutor Detective Police Constable 18235 Thoronka K. K. informed the magistrate that the first accused person is standing trial at the high for an alleged murder
Meanwhile Magistrate Bangura refused bail base on the gravity of the offences they were charged and sent them to remain in the male correctional facility.
However, the case has been adjourned to the 18th November, 2024, for further proceedings.
