A mother whose name was not mention in a video making the rounds on the social media is reported to have allegedly poisoned her three months old baby with a caustic soda at Pahama, Kenema district in eastern Sierra Leone.“The video claimed that the mother was about to cross with corpse of the child from the aforesaid village to Kenema, when she was arrested.
Unconfirmed reports are that the mother mixed her baby’s food with a poison, fed the child and later died. Upon her arrest while trying to cross into Kenema the woman refused talk to people when she was asked.
Narrating the video in details a man explained that the mother said she killed the three months baby because of disturbances she encounter from the child, adding that lady killed the baby so that she can travel to Freetown to enjoy her Christmas.
