Until now the SLFA has not published the list of officials in UAE for Leone Stars’ two unofficial friendlies this week -it’s unusual. There are lots of questions that need to be answered relating to the trip. The team departed for UAE without informing the public about the friendlies – Why?
Why not publish the list of officials uptil now?
Why travel with a large delegation of nearly 50 people?
Why is the government paying for 40 people for the non Fifa sanctioned friendly matches? It should have been 44 if a player and three other officials had made the trip.
I was told yesterday afternoon that Leone Stars would play Algeria A national team on Saturday, the same day Algeria are due to face Sweden -how is that possible? That’s why I wasn’t surprised when I read yesterday evening that Leone Stars would instead clash with the Agerian home based national team. So why the misinformation? Who is to blame for the bad arrangement?
I understand that the original plan was Leone Stars were due to take on their Rwandan counterparts before facing Algeria but the match will no longer take place- the search for a replacement for Rwanda is ongoing -what happened?
Why do Leone Stars A team have to settle for a grade B match? They might even play against a club side in replacement for Rwanda.
So many more questions to answer.
