Africell Sierra Leone has celebrated the outstanding Managers of the Month for August and September in its ongoing Africell Fantasy League competition, during a vibrant ceremony held at the company’s head office in Freetown.

The Africell Fantasy League is an innovative and engaging platform that allows English Premier League (EPL) fans to demonstrate their football knowledge and strategic skills while competing for exciting prizes.

Speaking at the event, Abdul Aziz Kamara, Assistant Media Manager at Africell Sierra Leone, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants and encouraged football enthusiasts across the country to join the rapidly growing fantasy football community.

“We appreciate everyone who has been part of this journey so far. The Africell Fantasy League is not just about winning prizes it’s about engaging our customers in something they love, while creating fun and connection through football,” Abdul Aziz said.

Interested participants can easily join by visiting fantasy.aplfantasy.com, creating an account, and setting up their fantasy team. After registration, users can join the official Africell League using the code 7UVM7D.

The competition has already attracted over 6,000 active managers, all competing weekly for top positions and exciting rewards.

The prizes include:

  • Monthly Winners: Africell-branded T-shirt and a cash prize of NLe 3,500
  • Weekly Winners: One-month StarTimes subscription and Africell app support

Abdul Aziz Kamara announced the August Manager of the Month as Amadu Massaquoi, manager of Vitoma FC, and the September Manager of the Month as Kal Thomson, manager of Akondya FC. Both winners received their cash prizes and branded gifts in recognition of their exceptional performance.

He encouraged all football fans, especially EPL enthusiasts, to participate in the competition and enjoy the thrill of managing their own fantasy teams.

“It’s not too late to join,” Aziz Kamara added. “Points begin counting from the time you register, and the window will remain open until December. We encourage everyone to participate and test their football knowledge you never know; you could be our next winner.”

In closing, Abdul Aziz expressed appreciation to Africell’s top management and all colleagues who contributed to the success of the initiative, noting that another prize-giving event will be held soon to celebrate upcoming monthly winners.

This exciting competition continues to unite Sierra Leone’s football fans, providing a dynamic platform to engage with the EPL season while earning rewards.
