One of the country’s leading mobile companies in Africell Sierra Leone Limited, through it digital cash transfer platform, Afrimoney has unveiled Emmanuel Rogers, popularly known as Artical Foyoh as Afrimoney Brand Ambassador.
This all important event took place on Wednesday 22 May 2024, at the Hotel 5/10 in the East End of Freetown.
Welcoming all at the event, Imran B. Koroma, noted that Atical Foyoh is one of the renowned personalities in the East End of Freetown. He said Artical Foyoh has contributed a lot not only to the growth and development of the entertainment industry, but also in improving lives of young people in the country.
He admitted that the rationale behind the gathering is to unveil Atical Foyoh to the public as Afrimoney East End King.
Making the pronouncements at the event, the Managing Director of Afrimoney, Mr. Martinson Obeng-Agyei, stated that it is an exciting moment for the people of the East End of Freetown,, adding that there are lot of opportunities coming from the East and people really need to recognize that in the country. He said within this two years, he had realised that there are a lot that exists in the East End and people need to tap into them. He continued that they have been doing a lot of programmes at their head office so this time they deem it wise to take this unveiling ceremony to the East especially when they’re unveiling the East End King.
He admitted that Afrimoney knows that they need to associate themselves with the East End people because they know that they can’t ignore them.
“We can’t ignore the East End people because they have the talents and they have everything so the need to plants themselves with the East End people by singing Atical Foyoh as our ambassador of Afrimoney. Because we want to get our message down to the common man so that they will realize that Afrimoney is here to stay,” he said. He furthered that they have selected people within the East that always sending the Africell SL Ltd message down to the people. He admitted that they signed the East End King so that he could connect the people of East End of Freetown with Afrimoney. He would bring the clout to Afrimoney and the people of Sierra Leone especially those in the East End of Freetown. He confirmed that they would support Foyoh in all his events in the industry. He confirmed that Afrimoney is the only mobile company in Sierra Leone that is sending and receiving money for free or without any extra charges. “We are the only company that send money for free. He said they are associating with Artical Foyoh they wanted to connect Afrimoney with the people of the East and also they wanted to bring money transactions to the door step of Sierra Leoneans. He noted it’s the beginning of a lot of positive vibes in store for the people of the East End of Freetown and it would not end there because there is more in store.
Making his statement at the unveiling occasion, the new Afrimoney East End King, Emmanuel Rogers popularly known as Atical Foyoh, stated that singing him as the newly endorsed Afrimoney East End King, is a testament of his hard work and dedication that he had put up over the years in the entertainment industry. He added that he had worked relentless to ensure that every action of his is counts. He said it’s not a mistake Afrimoney made by to sign him to serve as the Afrimoney East King/Brand Ambassador. “It’s not a mistake by Afrimoney to sign me as their Brand Ambassador. I know it’s a herculean task ahead, but I know we will surely showcase our efforts to achieve this goal together”, he said.
He registered his profound gratitude to his maker for his excess love and support saying; he had also demonstrated to his career. He said that God had also been his beacon of hope in all his undertakings and God had never disappointed him for once. He noted that God’s grace is sufficient in his life, as he reassured Afrimoney team that he would never downplay the trust reposed in him as he is fully committed to every agreement they had together.
He profusely thanked his family, closed-friends, and his team, who had been supporting him all these while ensuring that he achieve his desired goal. He said they had completed every effort to make him the giant he is today. He prayed for God’s continuous blessing for everyone around him.
Foyoh admitted that he had a total confident in his team and assured that he is certain that they could deliver in that particular position. He promised to fulfil his assignments to the fullest to the expectations of the Afrimoney Sierra Leone Limited with God being his helper.
He thanked all present that made it to the wonderful events and encourage everyone to continue using Afrimoney or start to use Afrimoney so that they would get the lots of Afrimoney facilities in store for them.
Making her statement, the team lead Afrimoney Financial Service, Hajaratu Sudi, expressed her satisfaction to Afrimoney for signing Artical Foyoh, noting that she is also hailed from the East of Freetown. “I’m happy to be here and what makes me more exacted is the fact that I am also from the East. I lived at Wellington and as a result I’m happy to seeing Atical Foyoh our East End King to be our brand ambassador” she said. She continued that they all know how influential is Atical Foyoh in the industry and expressed hope that the people could support him as Afrimoney Brand Ambassador so that Foyoh could achieve his goal. She added that there would be a lot of opportunities for the young people that are using Afrimoney, noting that people need to support not only Foyoh but also the entertainment industry as a whole.
