Seventeen years old Pupil Frank Garner made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on a count of Sacrilege contrary to section 24 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on the 10th June 2023 at the house of restoration ministry Church at No.49 Adelaida Street, western area in Freetown with intent to steal broke and entered into the house of restoration ministry Church and stole therein one Hisence Smath plasma 43 inches television valued eight thousand Leones(8,000) Property of the said Church.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused person, he pleaded not guilty. Meanwhile Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown, matter adjourned to the 31st of June 2023 for further hearing Inspector Musu Edna Kpulun is prosecuting the matter.
