We also want to honour those who have worked hard for the party and re-energize them for the work ahead. We also want to send a strong message to doubters, detractors and the oppressive ruling SLPP government that the APC is not dead and is rather determined to come back to governance to redeem the people and bring back joy into their lives. ” She thanked COCORIOKO and Publisher Amb. Kabs Kanu for always being there for the APC.
MADAM MINETTE SANDI:
The Deputy Diaspora 6th Region Women’s Leader said the program is being held to discountenance all the negativity about the APC out there in the public and social media and to demonstrate to the people and the SLPP that the APC is still strong and kicking, and that “we still have the fire inside us and we are ready to assume governance in Sierra Leone. We also challenge all the women of the APC to arise and fight for the party. We also want to send a strong message to all our APC partisans in Freetown and other parts of Sierra Leone that this is how constructively we should be engaging so that we can change the negative perception being peddled around about our party and prepare the party positively to return to power “. She called on all APC members to avoid joining cabals and factions and put the APC first. “We can demolish the negativity and challenges around the party. I am therefore calling upon all true APC partisans to remain strong and united and let us be meeting regularly and know the work we have to do to make our party stronger and help it return to power.” She also commended the Cocorioko Publisher for conducting the interview with them to give his own quota towards rebuilding the APC.
