Barely a week to the rerun parliamentary election at Constituency 110, in the Western Rural District,  leading politicians of the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) including the Hon. Chrenor Ramadan Maju Bah, Dr Richard Konteh, Dr Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, Chief Samuel San Sumana and host of others chairmen have at separate occasions visited the constituency.

Geopolitically situated the Western Rural District, Constituency 110 is one of the strongest supporter bases of the APC, where the party had always won elections particularly the seat in question, but was controversial stalled due to the highhandedness of the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party, following its disgraceful defeat in the last year’s rerun election.

Results of the rerun election were never announced nor the winner be declared by the National Electoral Commission.

The entire electoral process was completely marred by violent interruptions caused by cabinet ministers and the ruling SLPP party gang operatives who carted away with ballot boxes, having noticed that the opposition candidate Hon Kadie Davies won a landslide victory in the election.

Reaching out to communities, party members and supporters at Constituency 110, APC heavyweights visiting after the other, religiously preached peace, unity, free and fair elections while canvasing APC party supporters to vote Hon. Kadie Davies come December 12.

They encouraged APC supporters on separate visits to turn out in their huge numbers and vote Hon. Kadie Davies come 12th December.

Speaking to supporters at Tokeh, former Vice President, Chief Alhaji Sam Sumana entreated all to cast their votes for Hon. Kadie Davies come December 12.

He informed them no amount of micro credit finance promises will change their living standards, as all of such are lies and fake promises being made by the SLPP.

Addressing APC party members and supporters at one of the campaign rallies in the constituency, the APC Leader in the House of Parliament, Hon. Chrenor Ramadan Maju Bah said since April 2018 Sierra Leone was plunged into massive sufferings, the only things that are being regularly heard are hunger, economic hardships, gross human rights abuses and violations and endemic corruption by the ruling party.

Hon. Bah therefore reminded constituents of the approaching elections to turn out in impressive numbers to vote Hon. Kadie Davies and vote out the SLPP come 2023.

He particularly encouraged women to strongly support the APC candidate in the 12th December rerun election.

Dr Sylvia Olayinka Blyden in her brief remarks informed the gathering about her purpose of always being in court after the 2018 election. She said that she has been in court closed to two years now seeking justice for the rigged elections in 2018, adding that Hon. Kadie Davies won the last election but was stolen from the APC as it was never declared by NEC.
