The All People’s Congress is the most powerful and progressive political party in Sierra Leone.
Imagine. Even though we have not been in power since 2018, our surging power cannot make the ruling SLPP breathe. They cannot do or achieve anything without leveraging on our undying influence and grip on our nation’s essence.
But we need to unite as a political party. Peace needs to reign within the APC. Unity and peace are imperative if we must mobilize our abundant strength, numerical advantage, and universal popularity and likeability to take back power from the corrupt and inefficient SLPP.
The APC was conceived and built around the pillars of unity and peaceful coexistence among ourselves.
Our strength lies in unity and our shared responsibilities to one another, to our communities and to our nation. These are the values that have exemplified the APC. We therefore need to wake up from our stupor and try to bridge divides and schisms within our party and promote a more inclusive understanding of our might and value to our nation.
We must not forget. We have a commitment to our nation. APC is the most progressive and productive political party in Sierra Leone. Socioeconomic and political developments are only seen in Sierra Leone when the APC are in power. The people of Sierra Leone are crying for the APC to come back to power to redeem our nation from bad governance, dictatorship, tribalism, corruption, wastefulness, merciless killings of innocent citizens, mortgaging of our natural resources and exposing our country to international disrepute. We cannot afford to disappoint our people.
What is presently going on in our party is antithetical to the dreams of the founding fathers of the APC, and it is affecting our nation in no small measure.
When the APC is united and in peace, our nation has numerous benefits, including tremendous hope for the future, social stability, economic prosperity, and overall well-being. Despite all our foibles, Sierra Leoneans have come to learn that the only party that has their best interests at heart is the APC. Despite all the insidious propaganda against us, only the APC is capable of bringing joy to our nation. It therefore breaks the hearts of the people when we are not united.
Let us think about the people and unite in the interest of the nation.
