Hundreds of dedicated members of the All People’s Congress (APC) party from across the United States and beyond gathered in the Garden State of New Jersey for the APC-USA District 2025 Summit under the theme: “The Road to Victory: Strategy, Strength, and Unity.” The two-day event was a resounding success, leaving members energized and unified in their commitment to the APC party’s future.

Led by APC-USA Chairman Comrade Suphian Kalokoh and Vice Chair Comrade Kebbie Turay, along with executive members and the presidents of 14 state chapters, the Summit reflected a renewed sense of purpose, unity, and direction among party members in the Diaspora.

The Summit opened with a powerful and emotional address by former APC Government Spokesperson, Comrade Agibu Tejan-Jalloh, who served as the Master of Ceremonies. He reminded attendees that the APC party is more than a political entity—it is a family. “Unity, dialogue, and peace are not optional—they are the only way forward for victory,” he declared, criticizing the SLPP-led government for deteriorating living conditions in Sierra Leone.

Chairman Kalokoh echoed the sentiment, calling on every APC-USA Branch member to prepare to support the party morally, physically, and financially. “Our strength in the Diaspora must reflect our commitment to returning the APC to power in Sierra Leone. Victory is only possible when we act together,” he said.

Also speaking at the Summit was Diaspora Sixth Region Chairman Comrade Alfred Kebbie Sesay, who commended the APC-USA Branch as “solid, compact, proactive, reliable, formidable, and industrious.” He urged prospective candidates for office within the Diaspora to campaign with maturity and respect, reinforcing the message that losing an election is not the end of one’s political journey within the APC.

Attendees shared a sense of pride and renewed enthusiasm. The sense of camaraderie, mutual respect, and strategic engagement shown during the Summit stood as a testament to the enduring values of the APC.

With Sierra Leone facing growing economic and social challenges, APC-USA members left the Summit with a strong message: unity in the Diaspora is essential to national transformation. The 2025 Summit laid the groundwork for what members believe will be the APC’s path back to power.

As one attendee noted, “This wasn’t just a political gathering—it was a movement of Sierra Leoneans committed to change, starting right here in the United States.”
