In her welcome address, Reverend Lady Veralina Sam- Jolly said the Encounter has grown from a single group in 1992 to bigger dimension, which had blessed thousands of lives in and out the shores of Sierra Leone.

“The Encounter has made enormous contributions,” as the initiative came from God whom has elevated it in diverse ways.  Every edition of it, will leave a fresh anointing. “This year’s encounter is fully loaded,” she concluded.

Declaring the One week long 30th Encounter Edition opened, Bishop Fredrick Abu Koroma, said where there is glory, there’s liberty, adding that “We will see the glory of God.”

He did believe that heaven will be opened, noting that where there is an open heaven, miracle becomes easier, as he declared the programme opened.

In his brief statement, the Secretary General of Pentecostal Fellowship of Sierra Leone (PFSL), Rabbai Tamba Mbayoh said Bishop Akintayo Sam-Jolly has been a huge support to the body of Christ.

He went further to describe the Bishop as someone who is very much passionate and committed to serve God. And as a result of those attributes, the PFSL has moved to the next level in term of preaching and propagating the gospel.

When given the opportunity to speak to the congregation, President Bio said he’s the President of Sierra Leone today due to the work of God, emphasizing that one cannot succeed without the intervention of the creator.

The President said he chose human capital development as his flagship programme due to the fact that it is the only path to development.

He described Sierra Leone Problems as something that emanates from the way they do domestic politics. He encouraged Sierra Leoneans to be peaceful at all times ahead and after the 2023 General Elections.

Delivering the message of the day from different verses of Haggai, Bishop Akintayo Sam-Jolly said God want to fill his house with joy, as Your Lord is not a poor God.

The Bishop underscored that one cannot look up to man and expect change, but only with the King of Kings whom has such power to do so.  “Jesus is alive and it depends on your encounter with him,” he stated.

The powerful man of God disclosed to the gathering that ” we are going to see better days in Sierra Leone,” adding that if one makes his or her life the temple of God, the Lord will going to take away his or her shame.

The congratulation was in high spirits from the beginning to the end, starting with prayers and also ending with prayers
