The Information officer, Harbour Police Division has informed this medium that one Alpha Kamara is currently in police custody at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Freetown following an attempt to sold a TVS motorbike with registration AQT-260 at the cost one thousand New Leone at the race course scrap yard.
According to Turay, Detective Sergeant Sesay Frewah, based on an intelligent-led, the harbor division intercepted and arrested the suspect Alpha Kamara who is residing at Bus Station, Wallace Johnson Street together with the Motorbike.
The information Officer noted that during interrogation, the suspect admitted to have stolen the bike from Bolling Street, Kingtom.
He continued, upon enquiries from the area the bike was stolen, the owner, Abu Bakarr Bangura was identified and later produced the motor bike life card as justification while he also informed the police that he had reported the matter at the Adelaide police station.
