 Date of First Issue: May 28, 2024 

The Bank of Sierra Leone has allocated funds from its 2024 budget and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of the following: 

Lot 1

  • High quality suiting Customised Blazers with embroidered BSL Logo on left breast for Ladies – Navy-blue
  • High quality suiting Customised Blazers with embroidered BSL Logo on left breast for Gents – Navy-blue
  • Navy-blue and gold striped Neckties with BSL Logo
  • Navy-blue and gold striped Scarves with BSL Logo

Lot 2

  • Customized 100% African Waxed Cotton fabric with BSL Logo

Lot 3

  • Customized Souvenir Items (Assorted) with BSL Logo –

(Memo Block, Keyholder-Steel, Jute bag, Umbrella-foldable and non-foldable) 

            Lot 4

100% cotton collar T-shirt (Lacoste) 

Lot 5

  • Customized Cutleries and Dinner Items with BSL Logo –

(Cutleries, Porcelain Dinner Set, Drinking glasses, gold rim red and white wine glasses, Coasters, Placemats-Marble, Tea Set-bone China) 

Lot 6

  • Customized Entrance Mats with BSL Logo

Bidding is open to all suppliers who can demonstrate the undermentioned criteria and timely delivery schedule. 

Bidders can bid for any or all the Lots. Bidders must bid for all the items within a Lot. Partial quotation within a Lot shall be considered non-responsive.

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address below from Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Bidding documents must be purchased at the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NLe500.00 (Five hundred New Leones) to be eligible to participate in the process. Bidders must submit a copy of their receipt, together with their bids as proof of purchase of the bidding documents.

Bidding documents are also available at the Bank of Sierra Leone website: www.bsl.gov.sl for viewing only.

 Bids must be deposited in the tender box at the address overleaf on or before June 11, 2024 at 12:00 noon.

All bids must be accompanied by:

  • Bid security from a Commercial bank as follows:
  • Lot 1 – NLe30,000.00 (Thirty thousand New Leones)
  • Lot 2 – NLe16,000.00 (Sixteen thousand New Leones)
  • Lot 3 – NLe9,000.00 (nine thousand New Leones)
  • Lot 4 – NLe5,500.00 (five thousand five hundred New Leones)
  • Lot 5 – NLe9,500.00 (nine thousand five hundred New Leones)
  • Lot 6 – NLe5,000.00 (five thousand New Leones)
  • a valid Business Registration Certificate
  • a valid NRA Tax Certificate
  • a valid NASSIT Clearance Certificate
  • A valid Municipal Council license
  • Signed Bid Form
  • A signed Integrity Pact; (attached in the bidding document)
  • Most recent audited financial statement or most recent 12 months bank statement
  • Evidence of Similar Contracts Performed.
  • Samples/evidence of similar work done regarding items indicated in the lot(s) bidded for.

Please note that the final bid price should be inclusive of 15% GST.

 Potential Bidders must make payment of a non-refundable fee of NLe500.00 (Five hundred New Leones) for the Bidding Document in the Single Treasury Account at the Bank of Sierra Leone or any of the Transit Accounts with details as shown below and immediately submit the Bank Pay-in-Slip to the Procurement Unit, 8th Floor, Main Bank Building for issuance of receipt and collection of the bidding document.

 Bidders must submit a copy of their Bank Pay-in-Slip together with their bid as proof of purchase of the bidding document.

Bids will be publicly opened on June 11, 2024 at 12:05 p.m. in the presence of bidders or their designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below.  Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders.
