James Baimba a photographer in the First Lady has made another appearance before the Principal Magistrate of the Freetown Magistrate Court No1 Magistrate Mark Ngeba and bench warrant has been issued for him because he failed to appear in court.

The accused is standing trial on a count charge of obtaining money by false pretence, contrary to Section 32 (1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.

Police alleged that the accused on 1st September 2022 at Four Mile Newton in the Western Rural District defraud and obtained the sum of Thirty-Three Million Leones (Le33,000,000) from Khalil Imran Deen Dumbuya on the pretext for him to facilitate his movement to Bahamas American knowing to be false.

Shortly after the matter was mentioned, one of the witnesses, Alfred Sesay was in court but the accused neither his surety was in court.

The prosecutor Corporal 12090 Zainab Bangura made an application for bench warrant to be issued against the accused and surety.

Magistrate Ngeba issued bench warrant against the accused and surety and the matter was adjourned to 8th June 2023.
