Reliable sources have informed this medium that Bet Salone Football and Lotto Betting Company has been removed from their hitherto main office building at Siaka Stevens Street in Freetown.According to information reaching this paper, the company was asked by the joint board to vacate the premises over the weekend, that another sporting company called Elephant would occupy the office.

It would be recalled that the Bet Salone came into existence barely two years ago.

According to the Executive Director of Bet Salone, the company “is operating in a joint venture with the Sierra Leone State Lottery and the two companies operate on percentage basis.

However, customers within the Freetown Municipality were surprised to know that the company had been kicked out of the main Sierra Leone State Lottery Company offices.

Hundreds of winners were also surprised that last Monday and Tuesday they found it very difficult to cash in their winning tickets, since they could not locate the new office of Bet Salone, hence many are insinuating that the shift in location might have to do with the massive winning of customers over the weekend.

This paper tried to reach out to Bet Salone’s Executive Director Nicolas Nicol to comment on the eviction of his company but he could not respond to calls by our reporters.
