Sierra Leone’s Chief Electoral Commissioner, Mohamed Kenewui Konneh, who oversaw the PFSL election, commended the Fellowship for its peaceful and credible process. He reflected on the importance of national cohesion, particularly in the aftermath of the June 2023 elections, which exposed divisions in the country. He called for continued efforts to maintain peace and unity, urging the PFSL to play a key role in fostering national cohesion through its spiritual and moral leadership.
“As the Bible says in Psalm 11:3, ‘If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?’ An apostolic foundation is the basis for the attainment of God’s Kingdom, national cohesion, and eventual development,” Konneh said, urging members to remain steadfast in their faith and commitment to unity.
