The Bo District Health Management Team (DHMT) held its monthly In-Charges meeting at Gbonda Hall on Dambala Road, uniting healthcare leaders and stakeholders to review progress, tackle challenges, and strategize for enhanced service delivery across the district.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Amara Steven Ngegbai, the Bo District Medical Officer, stressed the importance of unwavering dedication from all health leaders. Highlighting the pivotal role they play in their communities, Dr. Ngegbai called for consistent, high-quality healthcare services.

The meeting served as a platform for health facility in-charges and DHMT unit heads to present comprehensive updates on their activities over the past month. These presentations showcased significant achievements, persistent challenges, and areas requiring immediate attention.

Osman Sillah, head of the 117 response team, chaired the session, facilitating dynamic discussions on addressing healthcare delivery gaps and strengthening systems. With support from the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) unit, the meeting encouraged active participation and problem-solving. Workshops allowed attendees to exchange innovative ideas for improving service delivery, particularly in underserved and hard-to-reach areas.
