Following their outstanding run in the 2022/2023 Sierra Leone Premier League, the defending Champion Bo Rangers are on a high preparation ahead of their CAF Preliminary Champions League against LISCR FC.
The back-to-back champions of the Sierra Leone Premier League was drawn against LISCR FC of Liberia in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
According to the team website, they have secured the singing of three outstanding players in readiness of their crucial encounter against LISCR FC from Liberia.
Their latest singing is East End Lions and Ghanian midfielder Samuel Kwaku Bekoe. Bekoe signed a two month short-term deal with Bo Rangers.
In a Press statement dated 28 July 2023, East End Lions confirmed the departure of the midfielder on a two-month loan to Bo Rangers. “East End Lions FC announces that the club has agreed with Premier League Champion Bo Rangers football club for the transfer of midfielder Samuel Kwaku Bekoe on a two-month free loan deal,” it stated.
The Killers assured their fans that Bekoe is a fully committed player of East End Lions and in fact they had already extended the player’s contract before his loan spell to Bo Rangers.
“We want to assure all our beloved fans that his connections with East End Lions FC remains strong. In fact, we have secured his future with us by triggering the extension clause in his existing contract. Samuel Bekoe is 100% now committed to East End Lions FC,” they said.
In welcoming the player, Bo Rangers stated that they’re pleased to announce the singing of East End Lions and Ghanaian sensational midfielder Samuel Kwaku Bekoe on loan.
According to them, Bekoe is a player who is comfortable at the back and front of the midfield, and his quality and experience will be vital to them during his spell.
Earlier last week, Bo Rangers announced the arrival of Yusuf Sesay a defender on loan from Freetown Football Club, who played for Kambio Eagles in the last Premier League season.
Bo Rangers are putting all hands on deck to represent Sierra Leone in one of Africa biggest Club tournament, that’s the CAF champion league preliminary round.
The first leg of the preliminary encounter against the LISCR FC will be played between August 18 and 20, 2023, with Bo Rangers hosting LISCR. The return leg will be played between August 25 and 27, 2023, in Liberia.
