The reigning champions of the Sierra Leone Premier League (for the past years), Bo Rangers has extended their lead at the top of the Sierra Leone Premier League after defeating Bhantal FC by 2 goals to nil. This highly anticipated match took place on Saturday 2nd of Match 2025 at the Southern Arena Stadium in Bo.
Going into the match, there were lots of expectations from the both teams but at the end of the final whistle, Bo Rangers emerged victorious against Bhantal FC with 2 good goals to zero. 
From start till the end of the match, Bo Rangers put up a strong performance, leaving the visiting side unable to secure even a point.
Bo Rangers had an early lead in the 2nd minutes of play a goal scored by Mohamedu Lamin and in the second half the double their lead with a goal scored by Yusuf Sesay in the 75 minutes of play.
Bo Rangers is currently leading the table after week 17 with 37 points; they have won 11, draw 4 and lost 2 which have showcased their dominance in the league. They have extended their lead by 6 points ahead of Bhantal FC, who currently holds 31 points and the 3rd position in the first phase of the Leone Rock Premier League 2023/24 season.
The Bo Rangers and Bhantal FC match were a game to watch and Fans witnessed an exciting clash between the two top-tier teams in the league.
Despite their defeat to Bo Rangers, Bhantal FC, has showcased clear intent and they are really posing to tell football fans that they can do it or they’re in the league for business, because of their great performance in the first leg of the Sierra Leone Premier League!
Also, the Bhantal FC during the match between Bo Rangers, they used a new jersey that had all their players name and numbers at the back and that’s a great move from their chairman and it administration which had seen them to be the first Leone Rock Premier League side to adopt such a practice this season in the League.
