Bo Rangers Extends Their Lead at the Top of the SLPL

The Reigning Champion of the Sierra Leone Premier League, Bo Rangers has extended their lead at the top of the Sierra Leone Premier League after defeating their rilvers Kahunla Rangers by 2 goals to nil.

This mouthwatering encounter between Bo Rangers, and Kahunla Rangers took place on Wednesday, 10th April 2024, at the Southern Arena Stadium in Bo.

Bo Rangers Secured 2-0 Victory over Kahunla Rangers which made them to extend their lead at the top of the Leone Rock Premier League to five points.

Bo Rangers put on a dominant display to defeat local rivals Kahunla Rangers. But, the visitors made it difficult for the host team in the first half of played where Bo Rangers created a lot of chances but they didn’t get the breakthrough in the first half of play because of the defensive prowess of the visitor and the match ended goalless in the first half.

But, in the second half of play, Bo Rangers came very strong to secure their three points and finally their Left-back Saidu Mansaray broke the deadlock for the champions in the 69th minute, before Saidu Bah Kamara sealed the win with a goal in the 93rd minute.

Despite a valiant effort from Kahunla Rangers, Bo Rangers held firm to secure three crucial points.

This victory solidifies Bo Rangers’ position at the summit of the league table and keeps them on track to defend their Premier League title.

Bo Rangers is currently in the first position with 47 pionts after 21 games played and they’re leading FC kallon in the second position with 5 points. Meanwhile, Kahunla Rangers are in the 17th positions with 19 points after 21 games played so far.
