Following their 2 0 victory against their batter rivals Kamboi Eagles, the giant of Kenema, Bo Rangers has extended their unbeaten run to thirty-two (32) matches with two games to go.
This mouthwatering encounter between the Giant of the East and the Elephant of the South was held at the Southern Arena on Saturday 8 July 2023 in Bo.
Bo Rangers went to the match as the already crowned Champion of the Sierra Leone Premier League. The champions are just trying to maintain their unbeaten run until the end of the season.
The match was goalless in the first half, and the coach showed his tactical skills in the second half of played; he introduced three substitutes, I B Computer, Joseph Cole and Mohamed Fogbawa, they all came from the bench to see the champion take home all the three points. Suffian Kalokoh popularly known as the Tormentor scored a sensational free luck to give Bo Rangers the lead and 5 minutes later the Tormentor doubles the score line for the current champions of Sierra Leone football league.
The current Champion has extended their unbeaten run to 32 matches. They have won 22 games, drew 10 games, and lost zero. As the league is gradually coming to an end, Bo Rangers have secured 75 points so far with two games to spare. Coach Alhaji Foray is currently one of the best Coach in the league and he is setting the bar high whilst others can replicate. Coach Foray unbeaten run is also exceptional. He has played 31 matches without testing any defeat in the league. From 2021/2022 season up till this 2022/2023 season Foray has not lost a single match.
However, the giant Kamboi Eagles of Kenema are currently fighting for their survival in the Sierra Leone Premier League. After 32 matches, the Eagles are currently in the 14th position and they have won just 8 games, draw 11 and lost 13 matches with 35 points. They are four points from the relegations zone with two games to go. Kamboi Eagles being the only team in Kenema really have a mountain to claim not to relegate from the Sierra Leone Premier League.
Bo Rangers have been a forced to reckons with in the league, so as such, they have invited them to participate in the second edition of the West Africa Champions Cup in Guinea.
