Twenty-eight years old Alhaji Kalokoh made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on a count of Fraudulent conversion Contrary to Section 20 (1) (iv) (a) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 13th June 2023 at Bombay Street the western area in Freetown Fraudulently converted to his own use or benefit certain property six bags of Char coal value six hundred Leones (600) entrusted to him by Aminata Koroma for the purpose of safe keeping. When the charge was read and explained to the accused person, he pleaded not guilty.
Meanwhile Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown matter adjourned to the 29 June 2023 for further hearing Inspector Mohamed Kamara is prosecuting the matter.
