July 24, 2025 – Freetown, Sierra Leone

The Dr. Ibrahim Bangura (DIB) Movement expresses its deepest condolences to Mr. and Mrs Alie Turay and the entire New England Ville community on the tragic loss of Madam Saloh Sesay and her three beautiful children: Aminata, Alie, and Ramatu Turay.

We are heartbroken by this devastating loss. We stand in solidarity with the Turays and all those affected by this unimaginable tragedy. May Allah grant the departed eternal peace and surround the surviving family with strength, comfort, and divine mercy.

This tragedy reminds us all of the urgent need for better environmental protection, equitable development, and compassionate governance. Dr. Ibrahim Bangura today visited the grieving family, mourned with them and reaffirmed his commitment to building a Sierra Leone where no family has to live in fear of the rain, and no life is lost to preventable disasters.

We mourn, we reflect, and we recommit to heal, to unite, and to build back better.

End.
