The Deputy Speaker and Chairman of Public Account Committee (PAC), Hon. Ibrahim Tawa Conteh, has praised the journalists from the Parliamentary Press Gallery for their exceptional contributions towards reporting stories from parliament.
Speaking after PAC hearing, Hon. Conteh lauded the journalists for their dedication to their work and their ability to report on parliamentary proceedings accurately and impartially. He acknowledged that their contributions have been critical in informing the public about PAC’s work and parliamentary issues.
“Journalists from the Parliamentary Press Gallery have played an important role in keeping the public informed about what happens in the hearing. They work tirelessly to ensure that their reporting is accurate and unbiased, and we appreciate their efforts,” Hon Conteh said.
He further that the press gallery journalists have shown great professionalism, and their commitment to ethical journalism has been impressive. He encouraged them to continue reporting objectively and responsibly, while also highlighting the importance of good journalism in a democratic society.
The Parliamentary Press Gallery is composed of accredited journalists from different electronic and print media houses who report on parliamentary events and activities. Members of the gallery are responsible for providing news stories and analysis on issues of national importance, including legislation, budget, and government policies.
