In his submission, the Deputy Speaker acknowledged the work of NaCSA in the development of the country and went on to inform the Commissioner that majority of the Commission’s projects are being implemented in the provinces especially those that are supported by World Bank and other international organizations. The Deputy Speaker said he wanted NaCSA to implement some projects in the Western Area. “Most of the social safety net projects of the Commission are being implemented in the provinces”, he stated.

The Deputy Speaker also called on the Commissioner to reposition and consider NaCSA’s projects for implementation in the Western Area.

He also said that the reason for inviting the Commissioner was to chart the way forward on how Western Area’s survey could be done and included in the Commission’s Work Plan for purposes of implementation.

In responding to the Deputy Speaker’s request, the Commissioner of NaSCA promised that going forward the Commission would consider it in their Work Plan and activities of the said Commission.

The engagement was climaxed by sharing thoughtful information that are geared towards shaping and advancing the development needs and aspirations of the people and the country.
