The Leone Stars home-based team headed by the National Home-Based Coach Francis Zappa Koroma has Wednesday 20th July, 2022 safely arrived in Morocco ahead of the 2022 CHAN Qualifiers against the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde. With the team excitement agility, and seemingly display of bravery among the boys to seek a place in the Total Energies Algeria in 2023.
“I will assure that the players were selected based on their outstanding performance during rigorous training sessions held in Kenema and elsewhere.” Francis Zappa Koroma the coach noted.
“It was against this backdrop that the Team Manager of Leone Stars Home-Based, has wowed to give the team Ten Thousand United States Dollars if they win both matches against Cape Verde.” Alhaji Bah Team Manager of Leone Stars Home-Based noted.

The first leg between Sierra Leone and Cape Verde is scheduled to take place on Sunday 24th July 2022, at the Grand Stade Marrakech and the Sierra Leone local is 2:00 PM and Morocco time is 3:00 PM whiles the second leg will take place on Wednesday 27th July 2022 between Cape Verde VS Sierra Leone at the Grand Stade Marrakech and the Sierra Leone local is 2:00 PM and Morocco time is 3: PM. Both matches will be hosted at the Grand Stade Marrakech in Morocco.
