The All People’s Congress (APC) presumptive flagbearer, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, on Thursday, 6th November 2025, made another mouth-watering donation of Le 500 million to the APC Northwestern Regional Executive through the party’s National Executive. The gesture, made at the APC National Party Headquarters in Freetown, underscores Dr. Bangura’s continued commitment to strengthening party structures, unity, and institutional cohesion.

Addressing a mammoth crowd at the APC Party Office, Dr. Bangura expressed heartfelt appreciation for the massive support from the Northwestern Region and the Western Area, describing it as a testament to the party’s enduring solidarity. He explained that his visit was to formally deliver on his pledge of Le 500 million to support the refurbishment of the historic Bai Bureh Hall in Port Loko – a landmark he described as a rich symbol of APC’s political heritage and a lasting legacy of the late S.I. Koroma, whose name he proudly carries.

In addition to the cash donation, Dr. Bangura also announced the presentation of:

300 bags of rice to the APC Young Congress,

300 bags of rice to the APC Women’s Congress,

100 bags of rice to the National Union of APC Students (NUAS), and

500 bags of cement to support the construction of a new APC Party Office in Kambia District.

Dr. Bangura further announced a mega pledge of Le 1 billion to the APC National Executive, to support its preparation towards the upcoming lower level elections. *This intervention specifically  aims at enhancing the party’s capacity to organise the lower level elections slated to commence this year.

This latest wave of donations reinforces Dr. Bangura’s vision of empowering party structures across the country, promoting unity, and investing in the institutional development of the All Peoples Congress.

Last week, Dr. Bangura made a similar whooping donation of Le 500 Million to the Kono District Branch of the APC as his contribution to the ongoing construction of the APC party office in the district.
