The Stars are aligning indeed. Back then, on the 20th of April, at the Fourah Bay community in the Western Area, traditional leaders placed their sacred symbols upon his head.
On 22nd August 22 in Bo, Southern Sierra Leone, the Lord led him to hold a grand event at the ‘Coronation Field, a venue designated for the crowning of leadership.
On August 24th in Lunsar, as he mounted the stage, the Heavens opened and drenched him and his supporters with showers of blessing.
And today, 30th of August, in his hometown of Mambolo, the Northwestern part of the country, political leaders ceremonially handed him a staff of authority. These moments, instantaneous as they are, transcend ceremony, they are a prophecy.
As #Jarrah Kawusu – Konteh noted back in April, “traditional and political leaders [at whatever levels] are more than custodians. They are earthly reflections of divinity. When they act, it is both symbolic and celestial. Their blessings are not just cultural, they are cosmic signals that the stars have aligned.”
And with these unforgettable moments at Fourah Bay, Bo, Lunsar, and now in Mambolo, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura is emerging as a man of the people, but more so, as the man destined to lead and build Sierra Leone.
