The Leader of the DIB Movement and APC flagbearer aspirant, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, on Saturday, led a high-powered delegation to Kakorla Village, off Kamabai in Bombali District, to attend the funeral of the late Chief Sumaila A.Y. Sesay, popularly known as Chief Masianday.

Chief Masianday, a respected traditional leader and long-standing member of the All People’s Congress (APC), was laid to rest in the presence of family, political associates, and a cross-section of community stakeholders. Making a statement, Dr. Bangura described the late chief as a “pillar of loyalty and service” whose enduring legacy within the APC will be remembered for generations.

The DIB Movement delegation joined hundreds of mourners in honouring the life of Chief Masianday, emphasising the Movement’s commitment to standing with APC members and their families during moments of loss, grief and reflections.
