Speaking to thousands of supporters, members, and well-wishers at the Bassa Town field in Waterloo, on Saturday 15th November 2025. Dr. Bangura emphasized that his vast experience in public administration, has prepared him to confront and prevent electoral malpractice at every level.

He firmly stated that once entrusted with the APC Flagbearership and eventually elected as the party’s presidential candidate, he will ensure that no process is allowed to undermine the will of the people. Sierra Leoneaens deserves elections rooted in transparency, fairness, and accountability.” He said.

Dr. Bangura noted that his maturity, leadership strength, and years of service have equipped him with the strategic insight needed to design and enforce systems capable of upholding electoral integrity. “The 2028 elections must reflect the genuine voice of Sierra Leoneans,” he declared, assuring supporters that every stage of the electoral process will be monitored diligently and professionally.

In a direct message to the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), Dr. Bangura cautioned that the upcoming elections will not be “business as usual.” Instead, he said, it will be a defining moment when the true mandate of the people shines through a mandate that the APC, under his guidance, is fully prepared to defend.

He called on APC delegates across the country to entrust him with their confidence as the party moves toward its convention. Dr. Bangura reaffirmed his readiness to lead the APC to victory and to steer Sierra Leone toward a future characterized by Heal, Unite and Build a renewed national purpose.
