Dr. Richard Konteh, Alhaji Kemoh Sesay and Madam Binta have swiftly responded to a very depressive call received from the Sillah family in Bo who faced an ejectment notice to quit the premises they were occupying as tenants at a very short notice. After receiving the call, the three senior comrades came together without little tarry and paid not only one year rental of Five Million Leones but also promised to complete the structure left behind by late Pa Sillah for the family within a period of one year. Pa Sillah until his death was the District Chairman of the APC Party in the Bo District.
While on his way to Kenema to attend the memorial service of Chief Suwu, Dr. Richard Konteh took his time off to inspect the construction site of late Pa Sillah in Bo and discuss the matter with comrade Alhaji Ibrahim Kemoh Sesay and Madam Binta to see how best they could intervene to complete the structure within a limited time frame. The three comrades reached a consensus to complete the structure within one year period.
Comrade Dr. Richard Konteh also paid a brief visit to the district party office in Bo and shortly addressed party stalwarts. In his short address, comrade Dr. Richard admonished party members to stay united and put aside their differences to promote the image of APC party. ‘Yes, we all belong to different factions within the party but, we are all comrades and we should treat ourselves as such’, he said, adding that ‘the APC party is bigger than all of us’.
This gesture was well received by the family and Comrades In Bo because it went to confirm that the APC will never abandon its own. This was very reassuring for Comrades in Bo who stated that they are now more inspired and motivated to work harder for victory for APC in 2023.
After this brief ceremony, Dr. Konteh and entourage proceeded to KENEMA for the 40 days ceremony for Late Chief Benson Suwu.
