As the second phase of the voter registration has commenced today 20th September, 2022, APC Dr Richard Konteh is pleading with all Sierra Leoneans especially those of voting age, whom have not been able to register in the first phase, to please endeavour to register now.Voter registration Dr Konteh emphasized is a civic right that should be honoured by every citizen. “No citizen of voting age should be denied the right to register and subsequently vote”, he said, urging that “ECSL must provide citizens the opportunity to register without any hindrances”.
D-Unifier as he is popularly known, is optimistic that Elections Commission -Sierra Leone must have done everything to address the huge challenges citizens went through in the first phase of the registration process. “We are sure of having a very smooth process this time”, he reiterated.
Having fully aware of the essence of the voter registration, Dr Richard Konteh as leading and most influential Flag Bearer Aspirant of the APC, sent out teams across the country to help motivate and sensitize people during the first phase of the voter registration process. He has always been supportive to programs of national interest.
