The UNIFIER Campaign Team is appalled by the broadcast on the “Uncle Sankara Media Platform” in which attempts were made to impeach the unblemished character of Dr Richard Konteh by parading FAKE Accounts and FAKE Information about the leading Flag Bearer Aspirant of the All People’s Congress Party APC Dr Richard Konteh. Our candidate will never fall for such a cheap and malicious propaganda.
You can recall that on the 7th October 2022, a program dubbed as ‘Uncle Sankara Media Platform’ aired malicious allegations against the person of Dr Richard Konteh. In that program, they mentioned several FAKE Accounts Numbers with whopping sums allegedly lodged in those accounts and purported to belong to Dr. Richard Konteh.
Dr Richard Konteh described the program as unfortunate and a failed attempt to assassinate his reputation. “I have no such monies and I know nothing about those accounts containing such huge sums of money. This is the new antics of my political opponents to assassinate my character.”
Dr Richard Konteh is a man of integrity and undisputable high moral character. It is easy to accuse Dr Richard Konteh but such accusations have always been proved wrong at the end of the day. This is why we will refrain from commenting on the COI Matter which is presently before the court of law. We rely on the Appeals Court to judiciously look into all the COI Appeal Matters and bring out their findings without any further delays.
In conclusion, the well determined and result oriented Dr Richard Konteh admonishes his unscrupulous political opponents to refrain from such false negative propaganda as this does not augur well for our bourgeoning political space in Sierra Leone. They should have known by now that targeting Dr. KONTEH will not in any way help them. Sierra Leoneans know better and they deserve better. Bob Marley once said ‘You can fool some people sometimes, but you cannot fool all the people all the time “.
