Temporary Power Outage Due to Maintenance Work on the CLSG Network Infrastructure
The Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) wishes to inform the general public that scheduled maintenance will be carried out on the 225 kV Bumbuna–HP Line and the 225 kV Bumbuna–Makoth Line respectively.
In a bid to smoothly undertake this maintenance activity, the Authority will experience a shortfall in the aggregated power generation mix, and will therefore initiate a temporary power interruption on Friday, 28th November 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, Karpowership and EGTC’s operated generation infrastructure will complement the gap. This outage is necessary to ensure the continued safety, stability, and reliability of the electricity supply network infrastructure.
