One of the title contenders in the Sierra Leone Premier League, FC Kallon, has closed the gap at the top of the Leone Rock Premier League after defeating Real Republicans by two goals to one.
FC Kallon beat Real Republicans on Sunday 14th April 2024 at the SLFA football Academic field to close the gap to two points against the league leaders Bo Rangers
The match started with a lot of optimism between the both teams where they created a lot of chances, and FC Kallon open the scoring a goal scored by Gbrilla Koroma and later Emmanuel Smart responded for Real Republicans by scoring a wonderful goal but later FC Kallon made it 2-1 against Real Republicans.
The match ended two goals to one in favour of FC Kallon that are behind the leaders with just two points. FC Kallon currently has 45 points after 21 games played so far. They have won 13 draw 6 and lost just 3.
