Following their 2:1 defeat away to Dream FC in Ghana, FC Kallon has a huge mountain to claim in the second leg at home for a place in the Group Stages of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
The first leg took place on Friday 15 September 2023, at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana where Dream FC defeated FC Kallon by two goals to one in a very fascinating encounter.
However, the cavaliers have a huge task to overturn the result in their favour if they want to qualify to the group stage. The second leg is scheduled for 30 September 2023 at the Southern Arena, Bo.
Former Leone Stars captain Umaru Zengaley Bangura made his debut for FC Kallon after he had signed a short term contract with FC Kallon.
With his wealth of experience in both national and international football, FC Kallon coach and it executive decided to give him the captain’s armband and he brought that exposure and leadership quality despite their defeat in Ghana.
