In a bold and patriotic declaration, General Abraham Harrison Lincoln Larkoh—widely known as General Abraham Lincoln—has officially announced his candidacy for the position of Publicity Secretary of the All Peoples Congress (APC)-United States of America (APC-USA) District. His announcement marks a new chapter in his long-standing commitment to the APC party and its core principles.

A well-recognized figure within both the APC diaspora community and political circles in Sierra Leone, General Abraham Lincoln has built a strong reputation as a steadfast party loyalist and tireless advocate for democracy, justice, and good governance. With years of involvement in grassroots political mobilization, youth and women’s empowerment, and civic education, his bid is being welcomed as a call for revitalized communication and stronger party presence in the diaspora.

“General Abraham Lincoln is not just a name,” his campaign statement reads. “He symbolizes a movement—serving as a voice for the people and a true patriot who has consistently supported the APC party through thick and thin.” His campaign is rooted in a commitment to transparency, accountability, social justice, and strong democratic values—areas he says are essential for the APC’s future, both at home and abroad.

General Abraham Lincoln’s track record spans significant contributions during politically turbulent times in Sierra Leone under the SLPP-led administration. He has consistently used his platform to advocate for democratic values and party unity, serving as what supporters call “the voice of the voiceless.”

As he steps into the race for Publicity Secretary, General Abraham Lincoln brings not only years of advocacy but a strategic vision to reshape and elevate the APC-USA’s public communication and engagement. His stated goals include expanding the APC’s media reach, empowering the diaspora to play a more integral role in national politics, and strengthening internal communication structures within the APC-USA District.

“This is not just about a position; it’s about purpose and progress,” General Lincoln said in his declaration. “The APC needs consistent, courageous, and credible voices to amplify its vision. I am ready to serve.”

Known for his charismatic leadership and strong presence, General Abrahim Lincoln has pledged to continue championing the values of human rights, democracy, gender equity, food security, public safety, and effective governance. His campaign highlights a vision that places people at the center of political advocacy, ensuring that the APC’s messaging reflects the needs, hopes, and aspirations of its members and supporters worldwide.

Many party supporters see his candidacy as a critical step toward bridging the gap between grassroots activists in Sierra Leone and their counterparts in the diaspora. With the APC preparing for future political contests, Lincoln’s communication skills and wide-reaching influence are expected to play a key role in energizing the base.

As the campaign season heats up, all eyes are now on General Abraham Lincoln Larkoh—an enduring symbol of party loyalty and a formidable contender for the APC-USA Publicity Secretary role.
