Former President of Sierra Leone, H.E. Dr Ernest Bai Koroma is in Accra, Ghana to participate in the 7th Edition of the African Leadership Forum slated for 25th and 26th May 2023 in Accra.
The African Leadership Forum was established in 2014 to as a platform where past and present African Leaders, leaders in public and private sectors to interact and share their different perspectives on how to push Africa’s development trajectory in various sectors.
This year’s edition of the African Leaders Forum is co-organized by the UONGOZI Institute and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat with the theme: “Promoting African Intra-Trade to Unlock Agricultural Potential in Africa.”
Ghanaian President, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will grace the occasion and is expected to deliver the opening remarks whilst African leaders attending the event are expected to discuss strategies aimed at boosting agricultural productivity in the continent with a view to promote inter-Africa trade.
The event draws several former African heads of states including Presidents Jakaya Kikwete of Tanzania, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia, Boni Yayi of Benin, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria, Mohamed Macef Mazouki of Tunisa, Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya and former Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Hailemariam Dassalegn Boshe
Former President Ernest Bai Koroma is expected back home on Saturday, 27th May 2023.
